Dr. Achila is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Aga Khan University Hospital. He has subspecialist certification in Urogynaecology. His special interests include the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic floor abnormalities, complex neuro-urology, and endourology in women.

Dr. Achila is board certified in urogynaecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. His training as a clinical research epidemiologist at the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) enables him to offer the highest level of evidence-based patient care as well as participate in rigorous research and audit of practice for the benefit of his patients.
